DIY Finance may use automated, rules-based, statistical, machine-learning, and artificial-intelligence systems to support Member experiences.
These systems may organize information, identify possible priorities, generate educational explanations, support conversational interactions, assist with categorization, produce estimates and scenarios, or help determine which information may be useful to request next.
Automated outputs can be affected by incomplete, stale, estimated, or incorrect information and by assumptions about uncertain future events. DIY Finance does not guarantee that an automated output is complete or appropriate for every Member.
Where appropriate, material financial calculations should use governed computational methods rather than relying solely on generated language. Material assumptions and limitations should be made reasonably understandable when they affect a Member’s decision.
Unless a separate written agreement expressly provides otherwise, Members remain responsible for reviewing important information and making their own decisions.
