What it’s like
One story, start to finish.
Mechanisms are easier to trust when you can see them inside a life that looks like yours.
Day one
An ER nurse carrying balances on two cards opens the app for the first time. She answers one question — “Get out of financial trouble” — links her accounts read-only, and sees Your Financial Starting Point: seven factors, two reading Needs Attention, one marked honestly as not enough information yet. No Score appears — not until enough of her picture is known.
The reveal
A few days later, enough is known. Her Score arrives with the reasons attached: what’s holding it where it is, and what tends to move it. It doesn’t flatter her, and it doesn’t shame her. It describes her current position — and points at the way up.
Week two
One Guided Action at a time: a payoff plan for the higher-interest card, assumptions shown, alternatives listed. She adjusts it to fit her paycheck schedule and saves it. When a run of night shifts swallows the week, nothing scolds her — the plan is still there, and so is Orb.
