Trust Center
Welcome to the DIY Finance Trust Center.
The Trust Center explains how DIY Finance approaches privacy, security, transparency, automated systems, financial education and guidance, accessibility, responsible data use, and Member control.
DIY Finance is a digital financial-well-being and education platform. General membership does not create a regulated professional relationship unless a separate written agreement expressly provides one.
Principles
Trust principles
- Collect and use information for legitimate service, security, support, personalization, analytics, and legal/compliance purposes.
- Minimize unnecessary exposure of sensitive financial information.
- Use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards.
- Explain material assumptions, limitations, compensation relationships, and automated outputs where they affect Member decisions.
- Allow Members to correct material information and manage supported connections.
- Maintain durable legal and trust language as technology, vendors, and product interfaces evolve.
- Deliver routine legal and service notices electronically to the extent permitted by law.
Material contractual rights and obligations are governed by the Membership Agreement, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Electronic Communications Consent, applicable paid-membership terms, and any separate regulated-service agreements.
