The Score
The Financial Wellbeing Score
One honest number for where you stand — and exactly what tends to move it. It is not a credit score, and it is never a ranking against anyone else.
What it is — and what it is not
One number. Your whole position.
A 0–100 measure of your whole financial position. It is not a credit score — Credit is one factor among seven. And it is never a ranking against anyone else.
A credit score measures how lenders see you. The Financial Wellbeing Score measures how your whole financial life is doing — what comes in, what goes out, what you owe, and what you are building. You could have excellent credit and still be one hard month from real strain; this Score is built to see that.
What goes in
Seven factors, one whole picture.
The Score reads seven parts of your real financial life. No single factor tells your story — together, they show where you stand and what could move you forward.
- Credit
- Income
- Expenses
- Debt
- Savings
- Investments
- Home Equity
Credit
Your credit history and standing — one factor among seven, not the whole story.
Income
What comes in: how steady and sufficient your earnings are right now.
Expenses
What goes out: whether your monthly costs leave room to breathe.
Debt
What you owe — and how heavily it works against the rest of your picture.
Savings
Your cushion: the reserves between you and a difficult month.
Investments
What you have growing for the future, beyond the day-to-day.
Home Equity
The share of your home you own — a quiet, long-term store of what you have built.
Condition, in plain words
Each factor is shown with a condition — a word, not a number range. You see where each part of your life stands, in language that means something.
Net worth appears in the app as a separate measure. It is not one of the seven factors.
Honesty first
It won’t score you on guesses.
Most scores hand you a number no matter how little they know. This one won’t.
Until we know enough — at least five of the seven factors, including your income and one of expenses or debt — you get an honest “not yet” instead of a made-up number.
No flattery
A Score that won’t flatter you.
Every Score arrives with exactly what tends to raise it. Three mechanisms keep it honest.
Explanations, always
Every Score comes with what drove it — and what could move it. You never get a number without the reasons attached.
Held, with the way up
Your Score can’t read “Strong” while high-interest debt is working against you. It tells you so — along with exactly what could lift it. A held Score is a map, not a verdict.
Estimates that say so
When the data is thin, you get an honest estimate, labeled as an estimate — with exactly what to add to sharpen it. Never fake precision.
Financial Wellbeing Score
Your seven factors
- Credit Fair
- Income Good
- Expenses Fair
- Debt Needs Attention
- Savings Needs Improvement
- Investments Fair
- Home Equity Good
Every factor comes with what could move it.

No rankings
Your journey, not a leaderboard.
The Score never measures you against anyone else — no percentiles, no leaderboards. It reflects your current position, and the direction you choose from here.
Built to stay honest
Honest today. Honest in a year.
The Score is designed to be versioned and reproducible — so every number can be traced, explained, and checked.
