These terms apply to any paid DIY Finance membership or entitlement, including DIY Finance Live, unless a specific offer states additional or different commercial terms.
Before purchase
Before a Member enrolls, DIY Finance will clearly disclose the price, billing frequency, length of the paid term, whether the membership automatically renews, the renewal terms, any trial or promotional period, how to cancel, and any material limits on the paid benefit.
DIY Finance will obtain affirmative consent to automatic-renewal terms where required by law and will provide a confirmation that the Member can retain.
Renewal
If the paid membership automatically renews, DIY Finance will send renewal, trial-ending, annual, price-change, or other notices when required by applicable law or platform rules.
Cancellation
A Member who enrolls online will be able to cancel online, at will, without unnecessary obstruction or delay, subject to reasonable authentication. DIY Finance may explain the effect of cancellation or offer an optional retention benefit, but the Member must remain able to complete cancellation promptly.
Where another enrollment channel is used, DIY Finance will provide a cancellation method appropriate to that channel and required by law.
Refunds and effective date of cancellation
Unless applicable law, platform rules, or the specific offer requires otherwise, cancellation stops future renewal and does not create a refund for a billing period already started or a fee already earned.
If a paid membership was purchased through Apple, Google, or another third-party marketplace, that marketplace’s billing, cancellation, and refund rules may control to the extent required by the marketplace relationship.
Material changes
Material changes to price, renewal, cancellation, or included paid benefits will be disclosed before taking effect and will be subject to any notice or consent requirements imposed by applicable law.
