Members can expect
- Clear disclosure of material membership terms, fees, and optional paid entitlements.
- The ability to review and correct material Member-provided information.
- Reasonable explanations of significant estimates, assumptions, automated outputs, and limitations where appropriate.
- Privacy and security practices described in the applicable policies.
- The ability to defer or decline optional requests for information where permitted.
- Access to the Member Service Center for account and service issues.
- Electronic notice of material changes when required by law or the applicable agreement.
- The ability to close an account, subject to lawful retention, security, fraud-prevention, audit, and regulatory obligations.
Members are responsible for
- Providing information that is accurate to the best of their knowledge.
- Reviewing important financial information before acting.
- Keeping authentication factors, devices, and credentials reasonably secure.
- Promptly reporting suspected unauthorized account access or material data errors.
- Using the service lawfully and in accordance with applicable terms.
- Respecting intellectual-property, security, and acceptable-use restrictions.
- Obtaining qualified professional assistance when a matter requires legal, tax, investment, accounting, medical, or other regulated expertise not expressly provided under a separate agreement.
Member responsibility does not waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
